Bethany and Kalee are full time working moms who began a mission in 2021 to bring powerful, transformative medicine to the Valley by opening Roanoke’s first IV drip bar and wellness clinic. With over 17 combined years of experience in healthcare and a background beginning in bedside nursing, Bethany and Kalee are in tune to the holistic needs of the entire person.
Together, they cultivated a vision of preserving health and vitality by providing restorative infusions in an environment that is therapeutic for the body and mind. They believe the future of medicine is here now. Nourished IV is a Nurse Practitioner run clinic that strives to provide a convenient, unique, and individualized experience to make each and every client feel their best with a sense of renewed energy and confidence.

I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner passionate about personalized care, disease prevention, and addressing the root causes of illness. My background spans critical care, internal medicine, and now functional medicine—where I focus on healing the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. At Nourished, we partner with our community for lasting wellness.Outside of work, I enjoy live music, travel, and time with my husband, our two dogs (Bodhi and Echo), and our cat (Rosa). We love gardening, kayaking and boating in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
I started my nursing career about six years ago and have spent most of that time in Labor and Delivery—having the absolute honor of welcoming new life into the world. I have a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and Jefferson College of Health Sciences. I tried being a stay-at-home housewife, but alas, I have too lavish of a lifestyle! I have an amazing husband and a super adorable daughter. I'm local to the SML area and love serving my community at Nourished Westlake. There’s nothing more gratifying than clients coming back through our door to tell us how amazing they feel after a treatment. Health is often taken for granted, and we want to give everyone the opportunity to live their best life!
Originally from just outside Buffalo, NY, I’ve been a registered nurse for 8 years, working across various states as a travel nurse—my favorite contract was in Hawaii! I graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2025. While I’ve loved working in critical care, my true passion lies in functional medicine and providing a holistic approach to care.Nourished allows me to do just that—helping patients heal from chronic illness, lose weight, recover from injuries, and more. Seeing those results is incredibly rewarding. Fun facts: I have a beloved boxer named Nash, and I just got married in July 2025 in the Dominican Republic!
I’m a nurse practitioner with a background in critical care, starting as an ICU bedside nurse before specializing in surgery and critical care. I now work in long-term care, which has given me a better balance between meaningful work and family life. At Nourished, I’m passionate about supporting the body’s basic needs as a foundation for healing—rather than just medicating symptoms. I love the sense of purpose and community I’ve found here. I live in the country with my husband, Jeremy, our daughter, and a new little one on the way. In my free time, you’ll find me enjoying family life, tending to our home, and baking sourdough—simple joys that keep me grounded.
I’m a proud mom of two beautiful girls, and we love spending time outdoors and going to live music events. I’ve been a nurse for about 15 years, with experience in family medicine, the emergency department, and home health. Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Joining the team at Nourished feels like the perfect fit, and I’m excited to be part of a team that’s truly making a difference in people’s lives.

Vitamins require cofactors, a healthy balance of bacteria in the intestines, and adequate liver function for optimal absorption. Age, stress, illness, activity level, alcohol intake, malabsorption disorders from previous gastrointestinal surgery and highly processed foods, and even pharmaceutical medications can influence how well your body is able to absorb supplements when taken orally. With 100% bioavailability, IV micronutrients become immediately available to the cells making infusions faster and more effective than taking oral supplements alone.
Water-soluble vitamins are rapidly excreted into urine by the kidneys making it extremely difficult to overdose or cause physical harm. This does not mean that the effect on health and wellness is transient however. Vitamins have a restorative impact at a cellular level that can last for the lifetime of a cell ranging from several days in some areas of the body, to years in others. Intermittent infusion of high dose water-soluble vitamins has proven to have a durable and lasting effect on physiologic function.
Any time a medication is altered from it’s original state, it is no longer considered “FDA approved.” This is true of changing a medication to liquid form, adding flavor, or in this case, combining micronutrients into custom formulations. Despite not being FDA approved, IV therapy remains highly regulated and requires the oversight of an advanced-care provider or physician. The science behind vitamin supplementation is well established in evidenced based medicine and has been safely practiced for decades. Our team of licensed certified medical providers is dedicated to patient safety. Our ingredients are sourced directly from 797 compliant compounding pharmacies and all procedures within our facility are conducted in accordance to state and federal regulations.
The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) is a well-established guideline that addresses the daily dietary intake of micronutrients required to prevent disease in the majority of the population. These levels are quite low due to the body’s ability to adapt in order to prevent illness. There may be a large gap between recommended daily allowances and the Maximum Beneficial Amount (MBA) of various micronutrients. For example, the RDA of vitamin B12 is 2.4mcg while 5,000mcg has proven to be tolerated without difficulty. The Maximum Beneficial Amount (MBA) should be considered variable between individuals with treatment guided by therapeutic response rather than laboratory values.
